Left alliance makes clean sweep in Baitadi

BAITADAI: All candidates of the left alliance have emerged victorious in the elections to the House Representatives and State Assemblies in Baitadi district.

The CPN-UML candidate Damodar Bhandari has won the election to the House of Representatives by garnering 39,524 votes while his rival Nepali Congress candidate Nar Bahadur Chand got 28,291 votes.

Similarly, Prem Prakash Bhatta of CPN-Maoist Centre has emerged victorious in Province Assembly (A) with 18,093 votes while his nearest rival of NC Hari Mohan Bhandari got 15,126 votes.

Likewise, Liladhar Bhatta of CPN-UML won in State Assembly (B) by securing 20,318 votes while his nearest rival Rastriya Prajatantra Party candidate Ganesh Chand got 15247 votes.
