Light aftershock of ML 4.2 jolts Sindhupalchok

KATHMANDU: A light aftershock was recorded in Sindhupalchok district on Friday.

According to the National Seismological Centre, Lainchaur, the aftershock of the April 25 earthquake was of local magnitude 4.2 and was recorded at 3:13 pm today.

The epicentre was near Listikot of the district.

It was the first significant aftershock that the NSC recorded after five days.

The coordinates of the epicentre are 27.90°N, 85.87°E.

The last aftershock was recorded at 7: 10 pm on March 6 with its epicentre at Sindhupalchok district.
