BHOJPUR: A man died after being struck by a lightning in Itahari sub-Metropolitan-10 of Sunsari district on Saturday.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, the deceased has been identified as Shanker lal Sardar (40).

Police said that critically injured Sardar breathed his last during the course of treatment a community hospital in Itahari.

The lightning struck him while he was working at his field yesterday evevning.
