RAJBIRAJ: At least three persons including a minor died after lightning struck them in Saptari on Tuesday.

One of the deceased has been identified as Puna  Yadav, 15, of Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality. Police said the incident occurred while Yadav was working in the field. Similarly, Harihar Chaudhary, 55, of Surunga Municipality died  after lightning struck him while he was working in the field on  Tuesday.

Chaudhary died in the course of treatment. Likewise, Shiva Sati Devi Pandit, 55, of Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality died after lightning struck her when she was returning from the field, said police.
