DHANGADHI: As many as 15 people have been injured in a lightning strike that occurred Monday midnight at two places in Achham district.

It has been learnt that six among the injured are in critical condition.

Eleven people sustained injuries in Kalekada of Panchadev Binayak Municipality-9 alone, while four people were injured when the lightning struck Ramaroshan Rural Municipality-5 in the district.

Police have informed that the injured are being treated at Wayalpata Hospital in Sanphebagar Municipality, Achham.
