Livestock service centre mostly closed

Rajbiraj, January 30

Hundreds of service seekers have been having a difficult time with the Livestock Service Centre located at Bode Barsain remaining closed most of the time.

The centre is run only by staff members and remains closed most of the time.

“Technician Arjun Yadav has been running the centre. No effective service is provided from there,” complained Arun Kumar Yadav, a local.

Another local Id Mohammad Ali said that most locals are farmers in need of the services of the Livestock Service Centre in the district. The farmers have not been able to receive any service when their cattle have health issues.

The centre was recently shifted to a new building nearby. However, this did not bring any change in the effectiveness of service delivery.

Chief Yadav said that he had to look after Deuri, Kachan, Ramnagar, Mauwaha, Belahi, Malahaniya, Fulkahi, and other VDCs, which is why he has not been able to give necessary time to the centre. He also said that he could not stay at the centre due to the foul smell of waste from near the centre.
