KATHMANDU: The Local Body Restructuring Commission (LBRC)  has so far received reports from 64 districts, apart from the districts of Province Number 2.

The reports have not been obtained from all districts, though the government had requested the Commission to submit its report by mid-November so as to facilitate environment for local election. However, the Commission has said that general discussion has not been held even in eight districts of Province Number 2.

The Province Number 2 includes Saptari, Siraha, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara and Parsa of Tarai-Madhes.

The reports are yet to be received from other three districts – Rukum, Rupandehi and Nawalparasi.

The task is underway to give final shape to the reports received from 64 districts. The Commission has intensified its preparation to submit its report to the government by the end of November.
