TULSIPUR, DANG: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara today said that the local polls in Province 2 would be held only after the constitution amendment.

Speaking in a press meet organised by the Dang-chapter Press Centre today, DPM Mahara urged the main opposition CPN-UML to cooperate in the amendment process.

“The government rescheduled the polls date in Province 2 to ensure participation of all political parties,” he added.

He had visited Dang to lay foundation stone for the construction of Rapti Sub-Regional Hospital building.
