BIRGUNJ: Locals in Raxual, India provided food to United Democratic Madhesi Front cadres, who were staging a sit-in at Birgunj border point, on Friday. Mahesh Agrawal, a trader at Raxaul, said they had managed the food with support from the local people.

He added that they had served their guests. “We shall continue serving meal to the protesters till the agitation continues along the border on the Nepali side,” he said.

UDMF cadres and leaders have been staging a sit-in at Dasgaja area of Miteri Bridge obstructing vehicular movement in the area.
