Rajbiraj, June 26:

Villagers and the Maoist-affiliated Young Communist League cadres, this afternoon, traded fire at Beriya Tole of Negada VDC in Saptari district.

The YCL cadres had reached there to search killer of their leader Govinda Chaudhari.

The clash ensued when the locals retaliated the YCL cadres, who were trying to abduct a local bus entrepreneur Birendra Yadav. Both sides fired dozens of bullets in the incident, locals said.
