'Ruling, opposition parties have begun talks to end deadlock'
RAUTAHAT: CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal on Monday said the ruling parties and the main opposition, UML, had lately begun conversations to end the trust deficit.
Speaking with journalists in his home district Rautahat today, the former Prime Minister said the recent gestures shown by the parties were welcoming as they would lead the parties to a solution.
Nepal was in Gaur today to offer sympathies to the family of an active party cadre, Shree Prakash Thakur, who had recently passed away.
Meanwhile, Nepal reiterated that the government should hold the local level elections at the earliest to ensure smooth implementation of the Constitution.
The leader said the United Democratic Madhesi Front constituent parties should not fear elections if they believed in democracy and democratic values.
