Madhesi Front eyes Kathmandu

Kathmandu, March 9:

All three constituents of the United Madhesi Democratic Front have fielded candidates in several constituencies of Kathmandu.

Tarai Madhes Democratic Party has fielded candidates in eight out of 10 constituencies. TMDP has Murali Prasad Singh Rajput contesting from Kathmandu 1, Raji Raya Yadav from

Kathmandu 2, Shalik Ram Pudasaini from Kathmandu 3, Kailash Kumar Jha from Kathmandu 5, Dharma Raj Shakya from Kathmandu 6, Anil Tuladhar from Kathmandu 8, Bhote Babu Pode from Kathmandu 9 and Arjun Kumar Ranjeetkar from Kathmandu 10.

Rajput, Yadav and Jha are Madhesis.

The Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum has fielded Chandrawoti Gupta Rauniyar from Kathmandu 1, Ashok Kumar Rauniyar from Kathmandu 8 and Kaasim Khan from Kathmandu 9.

Both the candidates are from Madhesi communities.
