"Thakur-led TMDP, Mahato-led Sadbhawana to unite"
KATHMANDU: Two Madhesi parties, Mahantha Thakur-led Tarai Madhes Democratic Party and Rajendra Mahato-led Sadbhwana Party, are holding talks for unification, according a senior leader of TMDP revealed on Sunday.
Unification of TMDP and Sadbhawana Party will happen soon, TMDP General Secretary Jangilal Yadav said.
"Top leaders of the parties are holding serious discussion for that," Rastriya Samachar Samiti quoted Yadav as saying.
Yadav warned of another struggle if the ruling coalition of Nepali Congress and CPN Maoist Centre failed to implement the three-point agreement reached with the Madhesi Front. He was speaking at a programme in Kathmandu today.
