Kathmandu, April 20
Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has said that the leaders of major parties were scared of his party's campaign.
He said this while addressing the by-election meeting in Bharatpur today.
He alleged that they were constantly being attacked because of the fear that if RSP won, it would open the files of all corruption cases in the country. He said, 'We are in favour of good governance, we are constantly being attacked for keeping the interests of the people in mind.'
"What we have promised to the people is that we will open the files of corruption one by one. "No one has the right to abuse the property of the people," he said, adding that those who earn their own money and keep the people always in need rather than solving the problems of the people are disgusted by my candidacy. He said that we have come to change the condition of the people and have received immense love all over the country.
Similarly, Swarnim Wagle said that, "Even the prime minister himself forgot the election code of conduct and flew all the way to Tanahun-1 to support the coalition candidate. But people are watching everything and this is clear evidence of how scared the ruling coalition parties are?"
He said that RSP's victory is sure in Tanahun, Chitwan and Bara in the by-election.
