KATHMANDU: The Development Committee of the Legislature Parliament  directed the government to ensure yearly auditing of the financial activities of all political parties and to make the reports public.

The meeting also instructed that the parties should make public their activity reports every three months, as mandated by the Right to Information Act.

Also, the panel directed all the parties to arrange information officer as per the law. Committee Chairman Rabindra Adhikari said the panel directed the government to make the parties transparent and accountable to the people.
