DHADING: A man was crushed to death by a bus while getting off it at Jyamrung of Dhading district on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old victim, Kumar Lamichhane, was returning home from the district headquarters boarding the bus.

He fell off the bus and got crushed under the rear wheel, police said.

As many as 24 people have lost their life in bus accidents in rural roads in Dhading in the past five months.

In the last week of September, 20 people were killed in a bus fall in Marpak VDC of the district. Most of the victims were earthquake survivors who were returning home from the district headquarters after collecting money provided by the government for reconstruction work.
