POKHARA: A man from Lekhnath Municipality-27, Taalchok in Pokhara has hacked his wife to death following a quarrel between the two, today.

63-year-old Kamal Kumal came home drunk and hammered his wife Suntali Kumal (55) with a wood plank over a family feud, leaving her critically injured.

Suntali died while undergoing treatment at Lekhnath Community Hospital, Spokesperson at District Police Office Kaski, Rabindra Gurung said.

Police have detained Kamal Kumal and initiated an investigation into the case.
