DHADING: Police have taken into custody a man in possession of around 50 kg of brown sugar from Thakre Rural Municipality-1 in Dhading.

A team of police deployed from Nepal Highway Security Post at Aadghat and led by Armed Police Force Inspector Ganesh Khadka arrested Deepak Magar (34) of Galchhi Rural Municipality-8 during a regular police check.

Magar was travelling to Kharighari from Galchhi Rural Municipality on a motorbike (Ba 21 Pa 876) with three bags. He was arrested from Prithvi Highway in Thakre Rural Municipality-1, on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, the arrestee is in custody and further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
