Ramechhap police today made public a person arrested for being a fake DIG of Nepal Police in the district. Man Bahadur KC, 52, of Majhuwa, Khadadevi  Rural Municipality,  who disguised himself as a Nepal Police DIG, had  phoned DSP Kumodh Dhungel at District Police Office Ramechhap to release one Dawa Sonam Sherpa held on the charge of public offence on July 1 and 2.

The fact came to light after DSP Dhungel probed the telephone conversation.
