Man killed in Dhankuta lightning
BHOJPUR: A man died after being struck by a lightning in Singhadevi VDC-6 of Dhankuta district on Monday.
According to the Area Police Office, Rajarani, the deceased has been identified as Chandra Bahadur Limbu (45).
Police said that Limbu was sleeping in his house when the lightning struck him at around 2 am.
Limbu has been sent to the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for postmortem, police said.
