NEPALGUNJ: A man was killed when an elephant attacked him in Bardiya on Tuesday night.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Om Prakash Jaisi, a local resident of Thakurdwar VDC. He was attacked by an elephant while he was sleeping in a small hut in the fields to look after the crops.

Om Prakash breathed his last while undergoing treatment in Bardiya Hospital.
