KATHMANDU: A person died when a tractor collided with a motorcycle he was riding on at Madhupatti-9 in Saptari district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Dhuran Yadav (40) of Govindapur-2 in Siraha district. Yadav had died on the spot, police informed.

The incident occurred when the motorbike (Sa 1 Pa 2197) collided head-on with the tractor (Na 5 Ta 8430) at around 7:30 pm yesterday.

The Kadorwana Area Police Office has impounded both the vehicles and arrested the tractor driver for further investigation.
