KATHMANDU: A man, who was seriously injured after being hit by a tractor at Dumre in Siraha district on Monday, died during the course of treatment on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Dharmendra Sada (19) of Kornai, Kalyanpur VDC-5 of the district, informed the Area Police Office, Kalyanpur.

Sada was hit by the tractor (Sa 1 Ta 4461) at around 4 pm yesterday.

Police have impounded the tractor and arrested its owner for investigation.

Police said that they are searching for the absconding tractor driver.
