RATNANAGAR: A man went missing after he fell into the Trishuli River at Chandi Bhanjyang-9 along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section in Chitwan district on Saturday.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, Narayan Bahadur Thapa (30) of Birendranagar Municipality of Nuwakot district, who was working in the Narayangadh-Muglin Road Project, slipped from the roadside and fell into the river.

Police said that six persons along with Thapa were heading towards Muglin when the incident occurred.

Following the incident, three persons went to inform the Area Police Office, Muglin, while two stayed at the incident site.

When police arrived, the two persons were also not at the incident site, police said.
