Maoist camps inspected

Dhangadhi, December 17:

A team, including human rights activists Padam Ratna Tuladhar and Daman Nath Dhungana, inspected the Maoists’ Seventh Divisional Headquarters and three sub-cantonment sit-es on Friday and Saturday.

After inspection, Tuladhar and Dhungana said that those camps are facing problems, including poor infrastructure.

Nearly 150 injured Maoist militias are there in the divisional headquarters and three other camps, Tuladhar said. They said that the PLA soldiers are found to have followed Maoist high command and no children have been recruited.

Replying to a journalist’s query, they said the containers to lock up Maoists’ arms have arrived in the cantonment sites.
