Maoist regime will continue its activities, says Dinanath Sharma

Kathmandu, November 17:

Leader of the CPN-Maoist Dinanath Sharma today said the Maoist regime will continue its activities till the final peace deal is signed. “Our government continues to operate in most parts of the country,” he said at an interaction organised by the Newa Republic Front for Autonomy, adding: “Activities of Maoist cadres will continue till the final deal is signed.”

“Though the recent peace agreement could not reflect Maoist stance on ethnic autonomy with the right to self-determination, the party is fully committed to the cause and will campaign for the same during elections to a constituent assebmly.”

“We have not changed our stance on ethnic autonomy,” he said.
