Nawalparasi, November 26:

A temporary base camp of the Maoists was relocated from Chormara to Hattikhor in Shivmandir VDC, today.

The camp for Paravartan Smriti brigade was set up yesterday only. Maoists’ district in charge Tanka Mani said that the camp will be set up permanently in Hattikhor.

Hattikhor which is nearly five km north of Nawalparasi’s Kawasoti and 22 km east of fourth division main cantonment Arunkhola will house nearly one thousand five hundred People Liberation Army (PLAs).

The site was chosen as basic facilities like transportation, drinking water, electricity can be arranged immediately there the Maoists said.

The infrastructure at Jhyaldanda till today is not developed. The Maoist source said the geographical location is posing difficulty in developing infrastructure. The PLAs will stay with locals till infrastructure is developed, it is reported.
