RAUTAHAT: Unified CPN-Maoist cadres have intensified their donation drive in the district. The party today handed over le-tters to different go-vernment and non-governmental organisations, teachers and businessmen in the name of the Maoist affiliated Bhojapura State Committee asking them to “assist” the party in its decisive movement.

The letters signed by Anjana Bishankhe, secretary, Bhojpura State Committee, read, “We request you to assist us in institutionalising the democratic republic.’’

The party has also fixed the donation amount. An NGO staffer said Maoist cadres had forced them to cough up donation amounts mentioned in the letter.
