PARASI: The cadres of All Nepal Farmers' Union (Revolutionary), affiliated to UCPN-Maoist, have confiscated the paddy yield from 60 bighas of land in Kawasoti-9, Ratoul on Friday. The cadres led by Bishnu Ghimire, district member of the union seized more than 150 muris of paddy from the land of Bharatman Karmacharya, a permanent resident of Palpa. According to the locals, the Maoists had seized the paddy that was being sent to Karmacharya. Karmacharya had given the land to a tenant, who would share half the yield. The locals said that the cadres took away the paddy loaded in a tractor.
