Maoists trying to split MJF: Yadav
Itahari, September 13:
Chairman of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Upendra Yadav today accused the Maoists of trying to split his party.
Addressing a gathering here of key MJF leaders and cadres from Khanar and Inaruwa, Yadav said: “The Maoists are trying to sow dissensions in the MJF’s rank and file and split the party. They are working in opposition to the MJF and as such, it is difficult for the MJF to work with them.” He also accused Kishor Biswas and some other MJF leaders of tarnishing the image of the party. Stating that there will be no MJF participation in the Maoists’ roundtable conference, Yadav said: “The Maoists’ roundtable conference is nothing but a farce. Only fools will fall for their ploy.”
Urging his party cadres to foil the Maoists’ extremist designs, he urged the cadres to be prepared for the Constituent Assembly polls.
Yadav also said that the Maoists and monarchy were the two biggest enemies of the MJF. He directed his party leaders and cadres to whip up support in the Madhes for the CA polls in order to bring about an inclusive democracy, adding that if the polls were not held, democracy itself would vanish from Nepal.
