Maoists’ twin plan
JHAPA: UCPN-Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Wednesday claimed that his party would lead the government soon. Talking to mediapersons at Bhadrapur airport, he said, “We will move ahead with talks and agitation simultaneously.” He, however, maintained that the protest was not for joining the government but to establish civilian supremacy in the country. He informed that the protest would continue until the President corrected his unconstitutional move. He reiterated that the protest would be peaceful. “Not even a single cadre is out of the party’s direction,” he said. Chairman Prachanda is on his way to Ilam to take part in a mass meet on Thursday. He is accompanied by his wife Sita, son Prakash and Politburo member Haribol Gajurel.
