CHITWAN: Vehicular movement along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section is likely to be disrupted until Saturday afternoon after a massive landslide blocked a 50-metre section of the road near Kalikhola on Friday.

According to Narayangadh-Muglin Road Project Engineer Shiva Khanal, the landslide occurred today nearby the area where a van carrying police personnel and a truck were buried last week.

No sooner had the removal of debris to resume vehicular operation along the road section finished in the morning than another massive landslide blocked the road in the afternoon, he informed.

Khanal shared that the landslide measuring around 8,000 cubic meters took place in the area. Two loaders are being mobilised to clear the deck on the Narayangadh-Muglin road which is a vital link to the Capital city, Kathmandu.
