Meaningful talks after Congress NGC: Rai

Jhapa, March 4

Minister for Information and Communications Sherdhan Rai today said the government would hold meaningful talks with the agitating Madhesi parties after the completion of Nepali Congress’ 13th National General Convention.

Inaugurating the Information Technology Fair organised by Computer Association of Nepal in Birtamode, Minister Rai said, “The government is preparing to hold decisive talks with the agitating Madhesi parties on the demarcation of provinces after the NC jamboree.”

He urged all political parties to help implement the recently promulgated constitution and expedite the country’s development.

Stating that Prime Minister KP Oli’s India visit was successful, Minister Rai stated that Oli would sign agreements on trade and transit with China during his upcoming China visit.

In another context, Minister Rai pledged to provide every village internet access very soon.

“The country’s development is possible through technological advancement alone,” he added.
