DHANKUTA: A man died after the motorbike he was riding on went out of control and hit a bridge over the Tamor River in Mulghat of Dhankuta district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as rider Diljan Khan (26) of Itahari Sub-metropolitan City in Sunsari district.

Khan was working as a mechanic at a bike repair centre in Mulghat.

The incident occurred when Khan was riding a customer's bike (Ko 16 Pa 587) to check whether it was repaired, but met with the accident yesterday evening.

The motorbike might have hit the bridge due to its high speed, said Mulghat police.
