KATHMANDU: The government has decided to mobilise health teams in the flood-hit districts. Three medical teams will be deployed from the Ministry of Health to Pathlaiya, Lahan and Bardibas to help flood victims.

According to the ministry, the teams will cover Bara, Parsa, Rautahat, Siraha, Saptari, Mahottari, Sarlahi and Dhanusha districts.

“The teams will be mobilised tomorrow (Monday),” said Chudamani Bhandari, chief, Health Emergency Operation Centre at the ministry. “Medicines are available in health centres in flood-hit districts,” said Mahendra Shrestha, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health.
