RAUTAHAT: Two persons, including the central chairman of the Tarai Army, an armed outfit, surrendered to the police at the District Police Office, Rautahat today.

At a press meet organised at the DPO, central chairman of the army, Sanjaya Kumar Shah 'Mister Sagar' of Raghunathpur VDC-8 and central member Baliram Das Tatma 'Mister Bishal' promised to live normal life. Sagar, who was handling the outfit after the murder of 'Mister John', said he wanted to live a normal life as the activities of such armed outfits was tarnishing the image of Madhesi people.

According to Superintendent of Police Pitamber Adhikari, the duo surrendered with a rifle, a three fifty pistol, a gun and some bullets. He added that the police would keep the duo under inspection to make sure they have come back to normal life.
