KATHMANDU: A four-year-old boy was killed when he was hit by a microbus (Ba 1 Ja 8113) at Baniyatar in Gongabu on Saturday. The microbus had run Kanchan Rana Magar down, killing him instantly. Tension flared in Gongabu and surrounding areas as locals staged a demonstration demanding action against the reckless microbus driver and compensation to the victim's family. The police had to use teargas shells to disperse the irate mob throwing stones at them.
