CHITWAN: Minister for Land Reforms and Management, Bikram Pandey, has pledged to distribute land ownership certificates to landless squatters from across the nation, during his tenure.

Talking to journalists here on Friday, he said the problems of landless squatters would be addressed once a sub-judice case related to the Landless Problem Resolution Committee was settled.

The Minister also shared that the Landless Problem Resolution Commission would be formed from the process of legal aid rather than from the political agenda.

On different note, he informed that the construction of road and embankment along the Narayani and Rapti rivers for the control of soil erosion in Chitwan district is being carried out very fast.
