Minister for Law, Justice and Constitution Assembly Affairs Dev Gurung today said that there was influence of foreign imperialist power in the country.

Inaugurating the fourth district conference of Tamu Mukti Morcha here today, Minister Gurung said, “The foreigners are playing the card of divide and rule. They are trying to create division in the parties by raising trivial issues.” He, however, didn’t disclose the name of those countries. Though the government is led by the Communists, it is controlled by the foreigners,” he added. In an oblique reference to the Nepali Congress, Gurung said, “Those, who believing in status-quo, are playing into the hands of imperialists and expansionists. No wonder, they are raising the issues of Young Communist League and People’s Liberation Army’s integration.”
