Minister Thapa, Jhamak Ghimire cast ballots in Dhankuta

Dhankuta, December 7

Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Democratic General Secretary and Minister of Industry Sunil Bahadur Thapa cast his ballot from Muga-based Jagirgaun polling centre at 7:02am in Pakhribas Municipality, Dhankuta today.

Thapa claimed that he would emerge victorious as he had been able to win the hearts and minds of the district denizens.

Likewise, Thapa’s rival and the left alliance candidate Rajendra Rai cast his vote from Saraswoti Primary School polling centre in Pakhribas Municipality at 7:20am. Rai thanked the people for casting ballots  for his party in the local level elections.

Meanwhile, senior litterateur Jhamak Kumari Ghimire also exercised her franchise from Dhankuta Municipality-6 based Multi-purpose Community Building Eye Hospital Centre ka.

After she cast her ballot, Ghimire said that the formation of left and democratic alliances in the country had given the people of Nepal new beacon of hope and energy.
