NARAYANGADH:  A boy died after being hit by a truck in Aaptari, Bharatpur Sub-Metropolitan City-1, along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section in Chitwan district, on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Bulat Mahato (15) from Hariharpur Birta of Parsa district.

According to the District Police Office, the truck (Na 3 Kha 6242) had hit the bicycle he was riding on, injuring him seriously.

Mahato had died while undergoing treatment at the Chitwan Medical College.

Police have arrested the truck driver for further investigation.
