NUWAKOT: A 40-year-old man, who went missing for the past 10 days, was found dead in a river in Nuwakot.

Rajaman Tamang (40) of Sundarijal in Gokarneshwor Municipality was found on the bank of the Likhu River at Likhu area of Shivapuri Rural Municipality on Thursday night, said Inspector Kailash Kumar Bhattarai at the Nuwakot District Police Office.

Tamang’s identity was ascertained after his nephew Dawa gave confirmation to police.

As the body had no scars and bruises, police suspected he could have been swept away by the river.

His body was sent to the Trishuli District Hospital in Nuwakot for an autopsy this morning.
