Cadres of Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum- Biswas (MJF-B) on Monday staged a protest at Duhabi bazaar against police action. They obstructed traffic on Duhabi section of the road and organised a press conference in front of Duhabi Area Police Office. The police and the MJF-B cadres had clashed at Duhabi on Sunday. “We will not let traffic resume on Itahari-Biratnagar road until our demands were met,” Biswas said. The MJF-B cadres hurled bottles and stones at policemen injuring some of them, inspector at Duhabi Area Police Office, Kuldeep Chand, said. — HNS
