BIRGUNJ: Cadres of Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum on Thursday morning torched Nepali language newspapers in Ghantaghar, Birgunj. A team led by Ajay Chaurasiya, chairman of Birgunj city committee, torched copies of Nagarik, Kantipur, Annapurna Post and Naya Patrika among others. Chaurasiya said that they burned the newspapers to protest the verdict of the Supreme Court that directed the Vice President to retake a fresh oath in the Nepali language within seven days on Sunday.
