ML 4.1 tremor recorded, epicentre in Dhading

KATHMANDU: A tremor of local magnitude 4.1 was recorded at 8:45 on Sunday morning, the National Seismological Centre said.

It has been listed as aftershock of the April 25 earthquake.

The epicentre of the aftershock was at the location with coordinates 28.04°, 85.02° in Dhading district, according to the National Seismological Centre.

The NSC records show that as many as 418 aftershocks of local magnitude 4.0 or above have followed the ML 7.6 earthquake that struck Gorkha district on April 25.

About 9,000 people were killed and properties worth billions were destroyed in the mega earthquake and its aftershocks.
