ML 4.3 aftershock jolts Sindhupalchok

KATHMANDU: An aftershock measuring 4.3 on the Richter Scale was recorded at 7:41 am on Thursday with its epicentre in Sindhupalchok district .

According to the National Sesimological Centre (NSC), a total of 422 aftershocks of local magnitude 4.0 and above on the Richter scale have jolted different parts of the country after the deadly April 25 ‘Gorkha Earthquake.'

The NSC further said, the coordinates of the epicentre are 27.86oN and 85.720E.

Earlier, an aftershock measuring 4.2 on Richter Scale had occurred in Dolakha district on December 28.
