Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in Bangkok on the sidelines of BIMSTEC summit.
PM Oli wrote on X that he had a warm and heartfelt meeting with Indian PM Modi. He further wrote: Our discussions were highly meaningful and constructive. I express my appreciation over this cordial exchange.
"We discussed various aspects of Nepal-India relations," the PM added.
According to a press release issued by PM Oli's secretariat, the PM also said that this dialogue will be important for advancing the issues raised at the BIMSTEC summit, as well as for promoting bilateral relations and regional cooperation through new partnerships.
Indian PM Modi also wrote on X that he had a productive meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Bangkok.
The Indian PM further wrote: India attaches immense priority to relations with Nepal. We discussed different aspects of India-Nepal friendship, especially in sectors like energy, connectivity, culture and digital technology. We also talked about some of the key positive outcomes from this year's BIMSTEC Summit, especially in areas of disaster management and maritime transport.
