BHOJPUR: A woman reportedly killed her minor son in Panityanki, Bhojpur Municipality-9 of Bhojpur district, today.

Police informed that Samjhana Thapa (25), wife of Surya Thapa, resident of Basikhora in Ramprasad Rai Rural Municipality killed her three-year-old son with a khukuri, on Tuesday morning.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Keshav Kumar Thebe, Chief at Bhojpur District Police Office said that necessary investigations were being carried outthe while the body of the deceased was sent for postmortem.

According to locals, Samjhana could be psychologically disturbed.
