Mother, three kids, jump into Seti River
DHANGADHI: After a child’s rescue by local fisherman, it has been revealed that a woman along with her three kids who had gone missing five days ago from Adarsha rural Municipality-4 in Doti had jumped into Seti River.
The police quoted the woman’s youngest who was rescued alive and revealed that they had jumped into the river.
Bam Bahadur Bohara’s 28-year-old wife Dhauli Bohora, their daughter Radhika Bohara (12), and two sons, Surendra Bohora (8) and Sunil Bohara (6) went missing on July 17, Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Doti, Lal Bahadur Dhami said.
Out of the four, Sunil Bohora was rescued by Maan Bahadur BK, a local fisherman, while three others are still missing.
However, Police are clueless on why Dhauli and her kids took this step.
“We have questioned her husband but did not get any leads on their motives,” DSP Dhami said, “We are taking a different approach to this investigation and believe that something will come up.”
“It was only after Sunil’s rescue that we came to know about the incident,” Dhauli’s husband Bam Bahadur said, “She said she was going to the hospital to treat Sunil’s ear infection and took Radhika and Surendra along with her.”
Bohora in his statement to the police has said that Dhauli had called him back from India 15 days ago citing her illness and they had not quarreled since he came back.
According to Police, a detailed investigation is underway and they have summoned Bam Bahadur’s in-laws and Maan Bahadur BK for questioning. Meanwhile, a search is ongoing for Dhauli, Radhika and Surendra.
