MORANG: A motorcyclist and a pillion rider died after a lorry with the Indian number plate hit a motorcycle in Biratnagar on Sunday evening.

The deceased have been identified as the motorcyclist Pawan Yadav (45) and the pillion rider Sarju Yadav (60) of Biratnagar Sub-Metropolitan City-17.

According to the District Police Office, the lorry (ML 01 D 3330), travelling from the south, lost its balance and hit the motorcycle (Ko 10 Pa 9652) from behind.

The truck driver and the helper are at large after the incident, informed police.
